1. The selection of bandages is to achieve a good fixation effect. It is very important to choose elastic bandages and dressings correctly. When selecting, the length of elastic bandage should be selected according to the upper arm circumference of the venous catheterization limb, and the elasticity should be properly tightened. The size fits together, which can effectively fix the venous catheter without hindering the blood circulation of the arm. Currently, our department uses elastic bandages with a width of 7cm and a length of 15-20cm.

2. How to use: Place the cut self-adhesive elastic bandage directly above the transparent digital sticker, starting from the end, with the first circle slightly looser, and the second circle slightly loosened, around the lower arm, the other end of the elastic bandage is sticky It will be well fixed on the hand. It is worth noting that the heparin cap should be kept in the elastic mesh bandage. During the infusion treatment, the elastic mesh bandage should be folded upward about 5cm to expose the heparin cap, so as not to be exposed to it at ordinary times. Pollution.

3. After observing the patients with adverse reactions, the main problems are summarized as follows.

The most common complication is phlebitis, which manifests as local pain, redness and swelling, and string-like changes in veins. The cause is mechanical damage in the early stage of catheterization, chemical stimulation and special physique in the later stage. The effective fixation of elastic bandages can reduce the occurrence of mechanical veins. Inflammation occurs because the traditional fixation method is pure transparent film fixation, which is affected by some subjective and objective factors, such as dampness of the film, patient bathing, sweating, falling asleep, physical activity, irritability, undressing, etc., it is inevitable that the rabbit will be pulled out of the catheter Or the risk of spontaneous prolapse, mechanical stimulation has increased the occurrence of phlebitis. Once the catheter is removed or prolapsed, the catheter must be re-inserted. This not only affects the treatment, but also increases the patient's pain and economic burden.

Effective fixation of elastic bandages also requires proper length, width, and tightness of elastic bandages. Too tight will affect the occurrence of thrombophlebitis of the patient's blood circulation loop, while too loose will not have a fixed effect. After the person has mechanical venous symptoms, he can take the trouble picker, relax the limbs, and resolve it after warming up. Secondly, it shows blood in the empty puncture site, and the venous catheter is reduced after using the elastic group with a solid prescription. Chance of bleeding. The elastic part of the elastic bandage strengthens the tension of the soft tissues on the surface of the hematoma like swelling, so that the inner and outer walls are attached and connected, and the cyst cavity is eliminated. The surrounding soft tissues naturally retract under the influence of elasticity, and normal functions can be restored after drinking.

On the first day of intubation, when the elastic bandage is fixed, high pressure is required to achieve the effect of compression and hemostasis. On the second day, the pressure is appropriately reduced to avoid the color noise of blood circulation. 4 patients in this group were re-wrapped with elastic bandages after bleeding , The symptoms of local ice count are relieved. A small number of patients will experience weakness in puncturing the affected limb, the main reason is that the elastic bandage is too tight. Adjust the tightness of the bandage in time, and the patient's symptoms disappeared quickly. After 24 hours of intubation, a full-time nurse removes the bandage and performs maintenance of the intravenous catheter. It is determined whether to continue using the elastic bandage according to the puncture point. The elastic bandage is convenient to obtain materials, fixed by adhesive, simple operation, easy to grasp, beautiful in appearance, can be cut at will, reduces waste, has good practical value, and is well received by patients.
